Computer managers plan, coordinate, and facilitate computer-related activities within an organization. Job duties vary considerably depending on the size of the company and how tasks are assigned. You may be responsible for evaluating computer needs and allocating the available manpower and resources to get the job done. Additional duties may include operating a computer; utilizing database, spreadsheet, or word processing software; entering and retrieving data; and generating source code for various business applications.
